Orgapack OR-T 100 was designed for use with narrow and thin straps. That is mainly PP strapping with 9-13 mm strap width and around 0.55 mm strap thickness. Other suppliers sell this tool in different colours and under different names - but it is actually always the same tool: Strapex STB 61, Signode® BXT-10 or Cyklop CMT 100.

A typical field of application of this tool is glass industry as tension force needs to be adjusted smoothly in order not to prevent packaging goods from being damaged. Stronger tools like the Orgapack OR-T 200 tool generally require a minimum tension force - in case of OR-T 200 it is 400 N. In contrast, ORT 100 already works in the range of 0-700 N.

As this tool will not be produce any longer, prices have increased significantly. Hence, we recommend either taking a completely overhauled tool that is available on stock, or a new LS-ZP 24 that is less expensive and that can be used with the same strap dimensions as the OR-T 100 tool. A further advantage of LS-ZP 24 is that is operated with a modern lithium ion battery without memory effect (and not with an old NiCd battery as it is the case for Orgapack's OR-T 100). Furthermore, LS-ZP 24 has a brushless motor and is thus also less exepensive regarding maintenance costs.
